1. I was as mad as a wolf snapping and snarling.
2. My dog acted like a fox hidding behind the couch burrowing down under the couch.
3. I was stunned as my brother acted like a monkey on sugar!
4. I balanced like a cat on a thin wire or a cat on a thin tree branch about to snap or crash into the ground
5. I ignored my older brother like a Dog with its tail held high and its head and chin straight up as if it was saying, I am proud for myself for ignoring you.

The title is called Love That Boy by Walter Dean Myers
Love that boy, like a rabbit loves to run. I'm as jolly as Santa Clause. I'm as mad as a cat sprayed with water. Hold your horses. It's raining cats and dogs. I ran as fast as a cheetah.
